Sairam Prasad has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Limited with effect from 16th January 2024.

Sairam Prasad holds a B. Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics from JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad, India. He has also completed various management development courses, viz., Managing Enterprises from Harvard Business School, Key Account Management from International School of Business and Project Management from Indian Institute of Management. His last engagement was as an Executive Director (Board Member) GICL & CTO, IHS Towers, Africa.

Ishwar Chand Mangal, the current Chief Executive Officer, SGSL would now act as CEO – New Business reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company. He has also been appointed as the non-executive director of SGSL with effect from 1st February 2024.

Mangal has done his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from “University of Poona” in 1992 and later did his post-graduation in Import-Export Management. He carries with him over 29 years of professional experience, the majority of which has been in the wind energy sector with Suzlon Group.
