Tata Chemicals Limited has gone for internal restructuring whereby Rajesh Kamat is moving from his earlier role as Vice President – Sales & Marketing and taking charge as Head – Strategy & Corporate Projects and Alok Chandra is taking responsibility of leading the Sustainability function in addition to his earlier role as Chief – Health, Safety & Environment. He is designated as Chief – Health, Safety, Environment &  Sustainability.

Rajesh Kamat is associated with the company for over six years and has been part of the Sales & Marketing and Strategy function. Prior to joining Tata Chemicals, he has over 23 years of experience and has worked in companies like Larsen & Toubro, Tata Strategic Management Group, Accenture, Britannia Industries Limited and Piramal Enterprises.

Kamat holds a BTech (Chemical Engineering) degree and has also completed his Post Graduate Diploma Management (PGDM) – General Management.

Alok Chandra has been associated with the Tata Group for over 13 years. He has been with Tata Chemicals since April 2022 and is responsible for Health, Safety Environment (HSE) - Enterprise level and ensures that the company embraces the philosophy of Zero Harm & achieve excellence. He has also driven the functions of human resources, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and HSE within the Tata Chemicals Group. Prior to joining the Tata Group, he has over 18 years of experience in working in various roles of HSE in companies like DCM Shriram Ltd., United Phosphorus & SRF Chemicals Business.

Chandra holds a Chemical Engineering degree and has completed his post-graduation in environment, Post diploma in Industrial Safety and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics - Human Resources.
