Wilo Group, a global leader in pump and pumping systems, has appointed Dr. Ravindra Utgikar has appointed Vice President & SBU Head. In his new role, Dr. Utgikar will drive Wilo's growth, customer acquisition and retention.

With over 30 years of experience in business strategies, business development, marketing, general management, partnerships & alliances and sales, he will focus on strategic market initiatives to expand Wilo Group’s presence in the industry.

Before joining Wilo, Dr. Utgikar has worked with companies like Praj Industries as Vice President - Corporate Marketing and Strategy; Sterlite Technologies as Head - Corporate Marketing & Communications and Suzlon Energy as Head - Central Marketing.

Dr. Utgikar, an engineering graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, did his Ph.D. in International Marketing Strategies from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
