Dr. R. Suresh Kumar has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Yasho Industries Limited with effect from September 11, 2024.

Dr. Kumar brings with him a proven record of accomplishment in industries like tyres, FMCG, pharma, automobiles, textiles, chemicals, and power & cables during a twenty-nine-year career span. In October 2023, he was awarded PhD for his exceptional thesis on Performance Management.

Previously he has held pivotal roles such as Executive President – Strategy & Chief Human Resources Officer at Polycab India Limited, Senior Vice President - Human Resources at Mafatlal Industries Ltd. He was also associated with companies such as J. K. Tyres & Industries, Hindustan Unilever Limited, ACG Capsules Pvt. Ltd., Ford, etc.

His extensive expertise is further supported by advanced certifications, including Proficiency for Independent Directors, ESG, and BRSR Expert Certifications. Dr. Kumar has also been honoured with awards such as the Most Influential HR Professional Award and Top 100 HR Professionals Award. He also holds a degree in Bachelor of Science: Mathematics, MBA - Human Resources Management - PM & IR Masters, LL.B and PHD.
