Gail Mangalore Petrochemicals inaugurates renovated DM plant

Designed to produce 220 KL/hour of high-purity DM Water using Ion Exchange technology, the plant features two independent processing chains

Gail Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (GMPL), a 100% subsidiary of GAIL (India) Ltd. located in the SEZ area of Mangalore) officially inaugurated its renovated and refurbished DM Plant on April 23, 2025.

The ceremony was graced by R.K. Singhal, Director BD, who inaugurated the plant, marking a significant step toward meeting GMPL’s growing DM water demand and advancing our project revival initiative.

Designed to produce 220 KL/hour of high-purity DM Water using Ion Exchange technology, the plant features two independent processing chains, ensuring seamless supply to the GMPL Complex — a feat achieved without OEM support, showcasing the incredible resilience and capability of our team.

The occasion was also graced by AK Naskar, ED-CEO(GMPL) along with Sudhir Kumar Dixit, CGM(PTA) and N Balasubramaniam, CGM(PTA) with all team members.
