Manali Petrochemicals Q1 profit jumps 349% to Rs 64.36 Cr

Manali Petrochemicals Ltd (MPL) reported a sharp 349 per cent year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 64.36 crore for the first quarter, compared with Rs 14.34 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The strong bottom-line growth came alongside a 17 per cent rise in consolidated revenue from operations, which climbed to Rs 274.72 crore from Rs 234.67 crore a year ago.
Total income, including other income, rose 19 per cent year-on-year to Rs 288.49 crore from Rs 242.69 crore.
Profit before exceptional items and tax surged 323 per cent to Rs 84.53 crore during the quarter, against Rs 19.96 crore in the year-ago period. Profit before tax also stood at Rs 84.53 crore, marking a 323 per cent increase from the corresponding quarter last year.
Earnings per share jumped 351 per cent to Rs 3.74 from Rs 0.83 a year earlier.
On a standalone basis, MPL delivered an even sharper improvement, with net profit soaring 1,739 per cent year-on-year to Rs 55.52 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 3.02 crore in Q1 FY26.
Standalone revenue from operations rose 40 per cent to Rs 229.18 crore from Rs 163.25 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The Board had earlier recommended a dividend of Rs 0.50 per equity share of Rs 5 each, subject to shareholders' approval at the AGM.
