Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT), an autonomous institute under Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India in association with National Association for Chemical Security (NACS) is organizing a symposium cum industry interaction on "Chemical Safety and Security: Importance, Alternatives and Mitigation" on May 30-31, 2025 at Gurugram.
The symposium aims to convene leading scientists, policymakers, industry experts, and academic professionals to deliberate on critical issues pertaining to chemical safety, sustainable alternatives, and mitigation strategies. The event will also explore regulatory frameworks and foster industry-academia collaborations to address emerging challenges in chemical security. This will also enable diverse stakeholders together to foster innovative solutions and collaborative efforts to enhance chemical safety protocols.

IPFT has been working towards the development of safer, efficient and environment friendly pesticide formulations. IPFT has four administrative divisions namely, Formulation Technology Division, Bioscience Division, Analytical Science Division, and Process Development Division.
