CARBIOS has signed two new multi-year commercial agreements with major players in the beverage industry for the supply of biorecycled PET.

The signing of these two new commercial agreements marks CARBIOS' entry into beverages.

These new commercial commitments are part of the pre-commercialization dynamic of CARBIOS' future industrial site, bringing the level of pre-sales to date to approximately 50% of the maximum production capacity.

Negotiations are continuing with other partners with a view to achieving pre-commercialization of 70% of the maximum capacity of the Longlaville site, a threshold which is one of the conditions for obtaining additional non-dilutive financing to allow the resumption of construction of the Longlaville plant.

The €12.5 million aid package from the region has been signed, bringing the total amount of public aid already granted to €42.5 million.

“These new partnerships confirm the robustness of our technology and the attractiveness of our offering for strategic sectors such as beverages. They also validate our commitment to sector diversification,” said Vincent Kamel, Managing Director, CARBIOS.
