India imposes anti-dumping duty on imports of 'Insoluble Sulphur' from China and Japan

The said imposition of anti-dumping duty shall come into effect after approval of relevant authorities

The Directorate General of Trade Remedies, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has recommended imposition of anti-dumping duty on imports of OCCL's Insoluble Sulphur originating in or exported from China PR and Japan, the copy of official Gazette dated 07th March, 2025 published on 10th March, 2025.

The said imposition of anti-dumping duty shall come into effect after approval of relevant authorities.

The imposition of anti-dumping duty should have a significant positive impact on the performance of the Company. However, it will be difficult to ascertain the quantum of impact till the duty comes into effect due to uncertainties pertaining to the reaction of the affected countries to post imposition of duties and other prevailing geo-political factors.
