Omya Performance Polymer Distribution has been named the mutually exclusive distribution partner for BASF’s Elastollan thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), extending a long-standing collaboration into a wider global footprint.
The agreement takes effect on July 1, 2026, and covers France, Switzerland, North Africa, Israel, and the Middle East.
The move marks a significant expansion of the partnership between Omya Performance Polymer Distribution and BASF, strengthening Omya’s position in the high-performance polymers market and broadening its regional reach into both established and newly added territories.
The new mandate builds on existing Elastollan TPU distribution in the United Kingdom and Ireland, handled through Distrupol, part of Omya Performance Polymer Distribution. In those markets, customers have long relied on Elastollan TPU for its established supply reliability, technical support, and application expertise.
Elastollan, BASF’s flagship TPU brand, is widely used for its toughness, durability, and processing versatility, serving demanding applications across automotive components, industrial parts, consumer goods, and electrical applications.
