Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Technological University to collaborate on an innovative pilot project under the Clean Yamuna Water Initiative.  The agreement was formalized by DTU Registrar Binod Doley and GFL's Global Business Unit Head, Kapil Malhotra.

The project aims to jointly study and strengthen wastewater treatment systems in the National Capital Region using GFL’s in-house, proprietary PVDF-based MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) technology.

Both institutions will collaborate on evaluating untreated sewage, monitoring water quality from Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), and generating actionable operational data.

Through this collaboration, DTU and GFL will work together on water quality monitoring, operational data generation, research, innovation, and sustainable water treatment solutions.

This industry-academia partnership operates under the Clean Yamuna Water Initiative.
