MCC PVOH from Okayama plant acquires ISCC Plus Certification

MCC will continue to contribute to the social implementation of sustainable products that use recycled and biomass raw materials

Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation has acquired ISCC PLUS certification, an international certification system for sustainable products, for Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) products from Okayama plant.

This certification guarantees that recycled raw materials and biomass raw materials are properly managed in the supply chain, including product manufacturing. With this certification, MCC will be able to handle the following products that utilize the mass balance method.

MCC declares that in accordance with the latest ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) regulations, it will comply with ISCC PLUS certification requirements.

Through the acquisition of this certification and the provision of certified products, MCC will continue to contribute to the social implementation of sustainable products that use recycled and biomass raw materials.
