Mitsui Chemicals earns ISCC PLUS certification for sustainable ACTCOL products

The certification recognizes the company’s commitment to producing sustainable, biomass-based, and chemically recycled products under a mass balance system

Mitsui Chemicals has officially secured ISCC PLUS certification for its ACTCOL product line at the Nagoya Works, marking a major step in the company’s sustainability drive.
 
The certification recognizes the company’s commitment to producing sustainable, biomass-based, and chemically recycled products under a mass balance system. Looking ahead, the Mitsui Chemicals Group plans to expand ISCC PLUS certification across its portfolio, aiming to “contribute to further advances in society’s use of biomass and improvement of plastic recycling rates.”

The company also reaffirmed its dedication to “complying with the ISCC PLUS requirements, in accordance with the latest ISCC regulations, and to avoiding the practice of double counting the Group’s environmental contributions.”
