ORLEN Unipetrol once again among the best employers in Europe

The ORLEN Unipetrol Group has long taken leading positions in similar competitions and rankings in the Czech Republic

Refining and petrochemical group ORLEN Unipetrol has obtained the global Top Employer Award, making it again one of the best employers in Europe in 2024.

The international certificate shows that the company has long been developing and cultivating the labour market through excellent employee care and sees to the employees’ personal and career development.

The ORLEN Unipetrol Group has long taken leading positions in similar competitions and rankings in the Czech Republic. Last year, ORLEN Unipetrol was acknowledged as the best employer of 2023 at the national and regional levels, and students in the Ústí Region gave the company the most votes as the most desired employer after graduation.

“In the past year, we took steps to boost happiness and increased engagement of our employees. Among other things, we reacted to their needs by introducing comprehensive activities related to the Group’s communication strategy, its non-financial remuneration, and the development of empathic leadership. We focused on deepening the sense of purposefulness and motivation of our employees, reinforcing their responsibility for the team results, and increasing the quality and effectiveness of collaboration within the company. The certificates we obtain, including Top Employers, attest to the ORLEN Unipetrol Group’s uniqueness and attractiveness in the labour market in the Czech Republic,” says Tomasz Wiatrak, CEO and chairman of the board of directors of ORLEN Unipetrol.

This is the thirteenth year in a row in which ORLEN has been recognized as one of the best employers in Poland, receiving the Top Employer Polska certificate.
