Privi Speciality Chemicals Limited, the leading manufacturer and exporter of aroma chemicals, having its state-of-the-art facilities at MIDC Mahad in the State of Maharashtra and Jhagadia in the State of Gujarat, is being awarded with the Ecovadis Platinum.

This rating reflects a significant upgrade from the gold rating previously held by the company and places us in the top 1% of companies globally assessed by Ecovadis across key parameters including Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

This recognition underscores our ongoing efforts to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles into our operations and value chain, and reaffirms our long-term commitment to sustainability.

We have also benchmarked our progress through rigorous third-party frameworks:

In the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) platform for Climate Change, we maintained a "Management Level B" rating for the second consecutive year (20241-the best in the lndian chemical sector and on par with global leaders.

In Water Security Disclosure, Privi has been recognized with a Leadership Level A-, earning a well deserved spot on CDP's prestigious 'A List' for 2024.This recognition speaks volumes about our focus on sustainable water practices.

For the first time in 2024, we also reported under CDP's Forests category and achieved a "Management Level B", exceeding the Asia regional average - a testament to our holistic approach to environmental risk management.

In line with our climate commitments, I am delighted to announce that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has officially validated our greenhouse gas reduction targets:

- We commit to reduce Scope l and 2 emissions by 50.4% by FY2032, from a FY2022 base year.

- For Scope 3 emissions, we will reduce by 35% by FY2034, from a FY2024 base year.

- Most importantly, our Scope 1 and 2 targets have been classified as aligned with the 1.5 degree C pathway, the most ambitious target under the Paris Agreement.

These recognitions, validations, and ratings are not just milestones, they are motivators. They remind us that sustainability is not a destination but a shared responsibility.”
