Solvay recognized as Supplier Engagement Leader by CDP

Recognition reflects sustained progress in Solvay’s climate commitments across the whole value chain.

Solvay has been recognised by CDP for its engagement with suppliers to jointly tackle climate change. Solvay is among the top 8% of companies assessed for supplier engagement on climate change, leading to a place on the 2022 CDP Supplier Engagement Leaderboard.

The CDP Supplier Engagement assessment complements the CDP results published in December 2022, in which Solvay again received an A- rating in CDP’s Climate Change assessment.

“We are delighted that CDP recognized our continued progress and recognized Solvay as a Supplier Engagement Leader,” said Pascal Chalvon Demersay, Solvay’s Chief Sustainability Officer. “This reflects both our overall targets to structurally reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and emissions across the whole value chain. We aim to tackle climate change at the service of our customers, our investors, and society as a whole.”
