UBE launches sale of ISCC Plus certified products

The products being launched are made using biomass and circular materials

  • By ICN Bureau | June 25, 2025

UBE Elastomer, a member of the UBE Group, received ISCC PLUS certification in January 2023 for its butadiene rubber (BR) produced at its Chiba Plant. Since then, the company has marketed ISCC PLUS-certified products made from sustainable raw materials using the mass balance method. UEC is now pleased to announce the official launch of these certified products.

ISCC PLUS is an international certification system that helps ensure and promote a sustainable supply chain, demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility and a more sustainable future.

The products being launched are certified under the latest ISCC PLUS requirements. They are made using biomass and circular materials through the mass balance method and help reduce environmental impact. By expanding its portfolio of sustainable products, UEC aims to offer customers more environmentally conscious choices as part of its contribution to addressing global environmental challenges.
