Two separate work orders have been placed by Delhi Jal Boards for design, engineering, construction, and commissioning (EPC) of 20 MGD wastewater treatment and 10 MGD Khanjhawala, 7 MGD Mohmadpur Majri, 4.5 MGD Tikri Kalan & 1.5 MGD Ghewra
BEIL Infrastructure Ltd. (formally known Baruch Enviro Infrastructure Ltd) a leading company aiming for clean, green, and healthy environment which specializes in providing turnkey solutions for integrated MSW management, hazardous waste management, has bagged orders from Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
The first order covers the Design, Engineering, Construction, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Decentralized Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and Sewage Pumping Stations with capacities of 4.5 MGD at Tikri Kalan, 7 MGD at Mohamadpur Majri, 1.5 MGD at Ghewra, and 10 MGD at Khanjawala, along with other associated and allied appurtenant works.
The second order covers Design, Engineering, Construction, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of a new 20 MGD STP at Yamuna Vihar Phase-I, involving the demolition of the existing 10 MGD STP. Upon commissioning, the facility will transition into a 15-year Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase to be undertaken by BEIL Infrastructure Limited.
The projects are scheduled for completion within 21 months and represent a crucial step towards cleaning the Yamuna by treating sewage generated in the respective areas. The initiatives form part of the broader efforts towards river Yamuna rejuvenation and contribute to enhanced environmental sustainability and resilience.
The design incorporates advanced odour control systems, green landscaping, and energy-efficient operations to ensure reliable, sustainable, and environmentally responsible performance. Following commissioning, BEIL will operate and maintain the facilities for 15 years, ensuring long-term performance, operational stability, and efficient plant management.
