Grundfos has unveiled its Grundfos Intelligent Experience Centre (GIEC) in Chennai, marking a major leap in the company’s mission to deliver innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric transformation across the water ecosystem.
The state-of-the-art centre offers an immersive demonstration of technology-driven water solutions, showcasing the complete journey of water—from intake and treatment to distribution, industrial processing, cooling, and wastewater reuse. Visitors can see how Grundfos’ pumps, digital tools, smart controllers, and monitoring systems enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across industries, buildings, utilities, and homes.
The GIEC is designed as a dynamic platform for live demos, application optimisation, customer engagement, solution mapping, and industry knowledge sharing. By simulating real-world water flows across industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors, as well as utilities, the centre lets visitors experience firsthand how intelligent solutions deliver reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Attendees can explore a wide array of applications, gaining insight into the full spectrum of Grundfos’ sustainable solutions. This hands-on approach empowers businesses to optimise their energy and water footprint, driving smarter and more sustainable operations across sectors.
Positioned as a flagship capability centre for India, GIEC will support a broad range of stakeholders—including end-users, OEMs, policymakers, consultants, contractors, facility managers, and sustainability leaders—enabling informed, future-ready decisions through transparent performance insights.
“When innovation, sustainable design, and digital management converge, the impact is significant and meaningful. This approach is at the core of Grundfos’ business, and through our Grundfos Intelligent Experience Centre (GIEC) at Chennai, we will be able to demonstrate our ability to play a defining role in India’s transition towards smarter and more resilient water systems,” said Usha Subramaniam, Country President – India, Grundfos.
With India leading global industrial transformation, the GIEC supports the nation’s push toward circularity, decarbonisation, water efficiency, and digitalisation. By fostering collaboration, the centre helps industries reduce water waste, cut energy consumption, and ensure system reliability through intelligent, adaptive pumping solutions.
