Shiva Engineering Services (SES), one of leading Indian engineering and construction services companies with a strong global presence, has announced a strategic collaboration with Pivot Methanol, a consulting firm led by Gregory Dolan, former CEO of the Methanol Institute.
Through this partnership, SES and Pivot Methanol aim to advance the commercialization of renewable and e-methanol technologies and accelerate the development of sustainable fuel infrastructure across global markets.

The methanol industry is rapidly transitioning from fossil-based feedstocks to renewable and low-carbon pathways. Methanol is increasingly being recognized as a key enabler of decarbonization, with applications in marine fuels, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), power generation, and as a hydrogen carrier.
This collaboration focuses on developing commercial-scale renewable methanol and e-methanol facilities powered by biomass gasification for renewable syngas generation, green hydrogen integration for e-methanol synthesis, biogenic CO₂ utilization for circular-carbon fuels and modular EPC delivery for scalable and rapid deployment.
The collaboration between Pivot Methanol and SES brings together two organizations with a shared vision - to advance renewable methanol from concept to commercial reality.
