AIMCO Pesticides’s brownfield expansion project gets environmental clearance

 The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has recommended the grant of environmental clearance of AIMCO Pesticides Limited’s proposal for expansion of Technical Grade Pesticides & Pesticide Intermediates manufacturing plant of production capacity from 14360 TPA to 21451 TPA located at Plot No. B 1/1, MIDC, Lote  Parshuram, Tal. Khed, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

The estimated project cost is Rs 24.66 crores including existing investment of Rs. 17.66 crores. The Budget earmarked towards the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is Rs 2.88 crore (capital) and the Recurring Cost (operation and maintenance) will be about Rs 0.76 crore.

Total Employment after expansion will be 510 people while the current phase, the employment is 210.
