BASF India net profit rises 168% in March 2022 quarter
Sales rose 20.89% to Rs. 3383.34 crore in the quarter

Net profit of BASF India rose 168.50% to Rs. 149.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs. 55.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 20.89% to Rs. 3383.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs. 2798.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.
The company has reported EPS of Rs. 34.6 for the period ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs.12.9 for the period ended March 31, 2021.
For the full year, net profit rose 7.64% to Rs. 594.84 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs. 552.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 37.08% to Rs. 13082.23 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs. 9543.18 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
The Board of Directors have recommended final dividend of Rs. 6/- per equity share i.e., 60% for the financial year ended 31st March 2022, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the company to be held on 3rd August 2022. The Dividend, if approved, by the Shareholders will be payable on or after 8th August 2022.
