Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd. (BCA), a group company of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Japan, has announced collaboration with ‘DeHaat’ and 'Plantix' whereby its products will be available to farmers on the Ecommerce platform.
DeHaat provides end-to-end solutions and services to the farming community in India. The farmer can use app to connect with DeHaat team for guidance on pests and disease solutions and get access to product from BCA.
BCA has a strong distribution network through which its products are available to millions of farmers. With the help of partnership with DeHaat, BCA products will be available to many more farmers.
DeHaat is building AI-enabled technologies to revolutionize the farm sector's supply chain and production efficiency. Currently, the company is operating in Bihar, UP, Odisha, and West Bengal with 6.5 lakh farmers in their service network, and the goal is to expand operations to many other states and bring services to 50 lakh farmers by 2024.
BCA’s products are now available to farmers on the Plantix e-commerce platform. The farmer can use the Plantix app which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnose Pest infestation in his field and also get access to solutions from BCA.

Plantix is currently operational in 7 Indian states, namely Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat and Haryana. They are on their way to start operations in Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Chattisgarh in 2022.
