Chemours adds glycleanD to its product portfolio

The Chemours Company announced the launch of Glyclean D —a proven broad spectrum disinfectant and cleaner, registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to deactivate the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as well as other viruses and bacteria .

Formulated using a 70% concentration of glycolic acid (GA), a registered EPA antimicrobial ingredient for use in the formulation of liquid, nonporous hard surface disinfectants, Glyclean D is a highly effective naturally occurring disinfectant. Unlike harsh, corrosive chemicals such as quats or bleach, Glyclean™ D is biodegradable and friendlier to people and the environment.

"Even in times of unprecedented uncertainty, we continue to work closely with our customers to ensure they are able to deliver responsible and innovative products and solutions," said James Kanicky, Global Business Director, Chemical Solutions at Chemours. "We´re proud to add Glyclean D to our product portfolio as it demonstrates our commitment to bringing new solutions to market that are better, safer, more reliable, and more sustainable."
