Cosmo Speciality launches a new range of silicone softener

Silicone softener products include: Hanatex Soft HB and Hanatex Soft HL.

Cosmo Speciality Chemicals, a 100% subsidiary of Cosmo Films Ltd., has launched Hanatex Soft range - a highly concentrated speciality silicone softener that gives inner softness and surface smoothness. 

The special formulated agent exhibits soft and bouncy handles. Silicone softener products include: Hanatex Soft HB - a hydrophobic silicone softener for all substrates for surface smoothness; and Hanatex Soft HL - a hydrophilic silicone softener for cotton terry towels knits and woven gives soft and silky handle. 

Based on Speciality Amino silicone, the finishing agents withstands moderate shear forces, high liquor TDS. It can easily mix with water in all proportions, these are applicable on any substrate like cotton, polyester and their blends etc. Improves the stretch and recovery capacity of Knit goods. 

Talking about the new product, Anil Gaikwad, Business Head, Cosmo Specialty Chemicals said, “Silicone softeners are becoming increasingly important in the textile industry as they considerably improve the quality of the finished textile materials, especially their handle. The softeners give knitted fabric more elasticity with better stretch recovery and at this present age, wear comfort is the need of everyone and looking at the demand of the customer base and market, we have introduced silicone softener, Hanatex Soft HB and Hanatex Soft HL for the textile industry.” 

Being very effective on knits, Terry towel, woven and blended fabrics these agents are free from APEO, NPEO, halogen, Phthalates & PFC and are compliant to GOTS. Both are suitable for the exhaust and padding application process.
