The company reported revenue from operations Rs. 188.4 crore for Q2 FY23, as against Rs. 220.1 crore in the previous quarter

Heubach Colorants India Limited (formerly known as Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd.), one of India's leading producers of pigments and pigment dispersions, sales were down by 3% to Rs. 188.4 crore for Q2 FY23 to Rs. 194.9 crore for Q2 FY22 while the EBITDA before exceptional item was Rs. 16 crore compared to Rs. 11.2 crore for Q2 FY22.

Normalized for exceptional items and tax settlement of past years, the PBT (Profit Before Tax) and PAT (Profit After Tax) for the quarter is Rs. 10.7 crore and Rs. 8 crore respectively.

The company reported revenue from operations Rs. 188.4 crore for Q2 FY23, as against Rs. 220.1 crore in the previous quarter. The EBITDA before exceptional item is Rs. 16 crore for the quarter ended Sept 2022, compared to EBITDA before exceptional item of Rs. 20 crore for the previous quarter.

The demand stress led to a dip in revenue QoQ; however, our keen focus on innovation and robust cost management ensured we had yet another profitable quarter. We see a hazy demand picture in the coming couple of quarters. Our emphasis on efficiencies, differentiated solutions for customers and an engaged employee base will enable us to navigate the current volatile environment.”
