Mangalore Chemicals profit drops on higher sales in Q4FY22

Company reported total income of Rs. 726.60 crores in Q4FY22 which is 20% higher YoY

Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited has reported total income of Rs. 726.60 crores (20% higher YoY) in Q4FY22 as compared to Rs.602.73 crores during the period ended March 31, 2021.
 
However the net profit dropped 76% to reach Rs.3.48 crores in Q4FY22 as against Rs.14.72 crores for the period ended March 31, 2021.
 
EPS also dropped by 76% and stood at Rs.0.29 for the period ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs.1.24 for the period ended March 31, 2021.
 
For the full year, the company has reported total income of Rs.2919.85 crores during the Financial Year ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs.2170.72 crores during the Financial Year ended March 31, 2021.
 
The company has posted net profit of Rs.87.86 crores for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2022 as against Rs.67.09 crores for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2021.
 
The company has reported EPS of Rs.7.41 for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs.5.66 for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2021.
