Sadhana Nitro Chem Limited (SNCL) commenced production of its first Para Aminophenol (PAP) plant on the 7th of June, 2022.

The first ten days went towards stabilizing the plant operations.

The company announces that plant operations have stabilized as of the 17th of June, 2022 and the company is now introducing the product into the India pharmaceutical market.

SNCL’s Para Aminophenol is manufactured through a hydrogen-based catalytic reduction of Nitrobenzene. This is the only the second plant of its kind globally.

Para Aminophenol is used primarily for manufacturing of Paracetamol, the world’s largest painkiller. It is also used for other applications such as aerospace, cosmetics, other pharmaceutical applications etc.
