Shree Ganesh Remedies planning Rs. 60 crore capex

Shree Ganesh Remedies Limited (SGRL), manufacturer of Specialty & Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Intermediates catering to various therapeutic categories like Oncology, Anti-Diabetic, Anti-Histamine owing to its expertise in organic chemistry and technology competencies, is planning Rs. 60 crore Capex over the next two years. 

With global companies pivoting towards India, SGRL has taken a step forward for future expansion in increasing the manufacturing capacity as well as upgradation in chemical reaction technologies. The recent acquisition of Jaiswal PharmaChem Limited, an adjoining closed manufacturing unit through government bank auction. The said unit was acquired at Rs. 26 crore and the adjoining land unit comprising 20,000 square meter area will help the company for the next phase of expansion into specialty chemicals and cater to the increasing demand for the CRAMS.

Current ongoing Capex expansion plans include commissioning of a new GMP Plant situated in the existing facility at Unit - 1. The plant will address the increase in customers' demand for Key Starting Materials (KSM) and Advanced Pharmaceuticals Intermediates catering to big pharma firms in India as well as European Region. The plant is expected to finish the commissioning in Q4 FY23 and start the trial run in Q1 FY24. Along with it, the company is in the phase of the erection for the Hydrogenation Plant block which will address high-pressure reactions for Pharma Intermediates as well as Fine Chemicals.

SGRL has two manufacturing units in close proximity to each other in GIDC Ankleshwar, Gujarat with a total production capacity of more than 200 KL. The product portfolio is inclined towards international markets, having catered to major pharma players in the EU region and domestic indian pharmaceutical companies as well. SGRL plants have the accreditation of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 manufacturing plants.

The company is strategically positioned to capitalize on the market opportunities as a result of our core chemical expertise which includes Chlorination at the top, among others like Grignard Reaction, Pressure-Reduction, Freidel Reaction, Carbon-Carbon Coupling, and others.
