The Board of Directors of SRF Ltd has approved project to setup a new and dedicated facility to produce advanced intermediates for agrochemicals at Dahej at a cost of Rs. 250 crores. The proposed capacity addition is 1000 MTPA, to be commissioned by 31 May, 2023.

The Board has also approved project for capacity expansion and modernization of Belting Fabric Operations at a cost of Rs. 162 Crores. The existing capacity utilization is 100% and the company has proposed capacity addition of 700 MTPA. This project shall be financed through a mix of debt and internal accruals. The objective is to maintain and enhance SRF's market share. The new capacity is to be added by 31st March, 2025.
