Ultramarine Specialty Chemicals commissions pigments plant

Ultramarine and Pigments Ltd's wholly owned Subsidiary, Ultramarine Specialty Chemicals Limited has successfully commissioned the pigments plant set up at Plot No. 59A, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Industrial Park, Naidupet, in the state of Andhra Pradesh to manufacture Pigments (1500 MT. capacity). The commercial production of the plant has commenced on 25th July, 2022.

The manufactures a variety of Inorganic Pigments such as, Ultramarine blues (Pigment Blue 29), Ultramarine Violets (Pigment Violet 15), Bismuth Vanadate (Pigment Yellow 184), and various mixed metal oxides. UPL focuses on the manufacture of environmentally friendly pigments that can be used safely across a variety of end-uses, including paints, plastics, inks, laundry, cosmetics, etc.
