Hexaware Technologies has strengthened its presence in Gujarat with the launch of a new delivery center at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City).
The launch marks a significant expansion of the company's operations in India’s leading international financial services hub.
The facility was inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and is set to support Hexaware’s global banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) clients.
The center will focus on delivering digital solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud transformation, data engineering, and next-generation software services to customers across international markets.
The move builds on Hexaware’s existing footprint in Ahmedabad and Gujarat and reflects the company’s growing investment in the state as a strategic technology destination. The GIFT City center is expected to become a major technology and innovation hub, serving financial institutions worldwide.
As part of the expansion, Hexaware plans to create approximately 1,000 high-skilled jobs over the next three years. The new roles will span software engineering, digital transformation, AI, cloud technologies, data analytics, business operations, and customer experience services.
“The establishment of Hexaware's delivery center at GIFT City is a strong endorsement of Gujarat's position as a globally competitive destination for financial services and technology.
"This is the kind of high-value investment the state has been building toward, and we are pleased to welcome Hexaware to this ecosystem,” said Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
The company said the new center aligns with its strategy of expanding closer to customers while leveraging India’s deep technology talent pool.
“GIFT City represents a unique convergence of financial services, technology, and innovation. Our expansion into GIFT City aligns with our strategy of being closer to our customers while leveraging India's exceptional talent ecosystem.
"We’re excited to contribute to the growth of Gujarat's technology landscape and create meaningful career opportunities for skilled professionals,” said R Srikrishna, CEO & Executive Director, Hexaware.
Hexaware executives highlighted GIFT City’s growing appeal as a destination for global technology and financial services companies, citing its ecosystem, skilled workforce, and supportive policy environment.
“GIFT City presents a compelling proposition for a company of Hexaware’s focus and scale. The financial services landscape, the quality of talent, and the policy framework the state government has put in place made this a clear decision for us,” said Vikash Kumar Jain, Chief Financial Officer, Hexaware.
The new facility further expands Hexaware’s delivery network in India and strengthens its ability to serve BFSI clients across global markets.
