Gulf Cryo partners Petro Rabigh to capture CO2 emissions from MEG plant

The project aligns with Saudi Arabia's Circular Carbon Economic Concept, as well as the Saudi Vision 2030's ambitious programs, aiming to reduce carbon emissions in the Kingdom.

Gulf Cryo and Petro Rabigh have successfully inked a 20 year agreement for capturing 100,000 metric tons per year of CO2 emissions from MEG plant.
 
The project aligns with Saudi Arabia's Circular Carbon Economic Concept, as well as the Saudi Vision 2030's ambitious programs, aiming to reduce carbon emissions in the Kingdom.
 
The agreement was signed in Rabigh by Petro Rabigh President & CEO Othman A. Al-Ghamdi and Gulf Cryo Chairman, Amer Al-Huneidi, establishing a new strategic collaboration that reinforces the commitment of both companies to enhancing local content and securing a resilient supply chain and sustainable business environment.
