ISGEC to set-up waste to energy plant for KPCL

The new production site will be capable of producing more than 100,000 highly efficient AEM electrolyzer modules per year.
With commercial operations planned for November 2021, Long Ridge will be the first purpose-built hydrogen-burning power plant in the United States and the first worldwide to blend hydrogen in a GE H-class gas turbine.
The commissioning of the unit is scheduled for 2023.
The new investment will add a capacity of more than 1,200 tons of oxygen per day on the G?ogów site, which will bring Air Liquide total oxygen production capacity on this location to close to 2,800 tons per day.
As part of the deal, Chevron will purchase RNG produced from these projects and market the volumes for use in vehicles operating on compressed natural gas.
With an estimated 10.5 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas resources, the block has the capacity to deliver approximately 35% of Oman’s total gas demand.
As per the company, the current gas price does not cover cost and it has made representations to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for suitable amendments to the formula.
