GAIL currently operates the longest LPG pipeline of India with a capacity of 3.25 MMTPA
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has conveyed authorization for capacity expansion of Jamnagar-Loni Petroleum Product (LPG) Pipeline (JLPL) of GAIL network from 3.25 MMTPA to 6.5 MMTPA.
GAIL currently operates the longest LPG pipeline of India with a capacity of 3.25 MMTPA.
The pipeline is currently operating at 100% capacity. In the last decade the cumulative growth of LPG was around 6%. Similar type of growth is expected to be continued in the future, leading to higher pipeline capacity utilization.
Therefore, expansion of the pipeline will result into business growth of the company.
