Arkema's subsidiary became a Gold-level partner of the Gol de Letra Foundation in Brazil, The Foundation contributes to the social integration of socially vulnerable young people from the favelas through education, culture and sport.

Gol de Letra is a foundation set up in 1998 by Raí and Leonardo, the two famous Brazilian soccer world champions who played for PSG. Gol de Letra receives over 5,000 children, teenagers and young adults each year at its centers in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Recognized by UNESCO, the association's mission is to contribute to the education of socially vulnerable children and young people in Brazil's favelas.

Supporting Gol de Letra is an action that reinforces our commitment to making a difference in our communities by practicing solidarity and inclusion through education. We share Gol de Letra's values and its passion for soccer and sport," says Carlos De Lion, President of Arkema in Brazil and the Southern Cone.

As a Gold Sponsor, Arkema supports the Youth Program, which serves individuals aged 14 to 29 and aims to contribute to the comprehensive development and life skills of these adolescents and young adults. This initiative offers workshops and training projects that help expand cultural, social, educational, and professional repertoires.

Arkema also supports the Jogo Aberto program, which includes strategies and actions to promote sports culture in activities such as athletics, basketball, gymnastics, handball, judo, and skateboarding, among others, and leisure activities. This program also works in partnership with the Social Service team in the Vila Albertina neighborhood, located in the Northern Zone of São Paulo, aiming to strengthen bonds between the families served and the development of the local community.

“We believe that sport is essential for the full development of young people: it promotes inclusion and social interaction, encourages independence and a sense of community, and allows public spaces to be used in a participatory and engaging way," says Raí, co-founder of Gol de Letra. "I’m delighted that Arkema is joining us to develop the Foundation’s activities. Without partners like Arkema, Gol de Letra would not have the same impact.”
