EIL, GAIL erect India’s first catofin reactor

EIL along with GAIL (India) has accomplished a path-breaking milestone with the erection of India's first catofin reactor at the Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) unit of the PDH-PP petrochemical project at Usar, Maharashtra. It is also the first time in the world that a catofin reactor has been fabricated at a project site.

EIL is setting up the Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) unit for the first time in India followed by the downstream Polypropylene (PP) unit. This milestone is a testament to EIL's leadership in engineering consultancy and project execution in the hydrocarbon sector and commitment to substituting import dependency.

Hygenco to supply green fuel for Mitsubishi Power's GTCC technology

Hygenco Green Energies signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Power to explore the possibility of delivering green hydrogen/ green ammonia-fired gas turbine combined cycle power plants.

Hygenco will supply green fuel for Mitsubishi Power's GTCC technology to the potential customers by developing and deploying scaled-up, commercially viable green hydrogen and green ammonia production assets on a build-own-operate or gas-as-a-service basis.

Nayara gets patent for ‘Process for improving quality of kerosene type petroleum distillates by adsorbent technique’

Nayara Energy has secured a patent for an invented technology that improves the quality of kerosene-type petroleum distillates namely mineral turpentine oil, aviation turbine fuel, organic solvents etc. by enhancing colour and reducing contaminants. The patent title is “Process for improving quality of kerosene type petroleum distillates by adsorbent technique”. It has been granted for Saybolt Colour improvement process and is the second Indian patent received for innovative research work done by Nayara R&D team.
