Hatsun Agro gets Rs.25 cr subsidy from Telengana Govt for setting up ice cream plant

New ice cream plant will be set up in Govindapur, Sangareddy District in the State of Telengana

The Government of Telengana, Industries & Commerce has agreed to provide various subsidies for an amount not exceeding Rs. 25 crores to Hatsun Agro Product Limited for setting up an ice cream plant in Govindapur, Zaheerabad Taluk, Sangareddy District in the State of Telengana.
 
The company has been engaged in manufacturing a range of high-quality dairy products that cater to both cooking and consumption, like milk, curd, ice creams, dairy whitener, skimmed milk powder, ghee, paneer and lots more. Its key focus is on delivering quality which is backed by a technically advanced system that works in accordance with a time-tested business processes across its 16 plants.
 
The company also has a healthy global presence with dairy ingredients exported to 38 countries around the world - primarily in America, the Middle East and South Asian markets.
 
Hatsun has state-of-the-art plants for processing and packaging in both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Some of the facilities are in Salem, Kanchipuram, Madurai, Belgaum and Honnali. They also have a strong logistics and distribution network for its products, with over 2305 Arun Icecreams parlours in Tamil Nadu, and parts of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The company has 14 strategically-located cold room distribution points.
