Huntsman Textile Effects bags ICC Award for Excellence in Process Design and Engineering

The award recognizes the state-of-the-art process engineering solutions created and deployed at Huntsman’s manufacturing site in Baroda.

Huntsman Textile Effects, a global leader in innovative and environmentally sustainable dyes, chemicals and digital inks, has won the coveted ICC Award for Excellence in Process Design and Engineering for 2021. Presented by the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), the award recognizes the state-of-the-art process engineering solutions created and deployed at Huntsman’s manufacturing site in Baroda.

Representing all sectors of the chemical industry since 1938, the ICC is a leading national body and the organizer of India’s foremost chemicals industry awards. It honoured Huntsman Textile Effects this year for its success in optimizing and automating its production systems.

“It is an honour to be recognized by the Indian Chemical Council for our efforts and commitment to process engineering,” said Kavishwar Kalambe, Site Director, Baroda Plant, Huntsman Textile Effects.

“We are on a mission to continuously improve production efficiency and reduce water and energy usage at the Baroda site. This award is a great encouragement to us all and reflects our strong teamwork and culture of excellence.”
