DFPCL (Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals Corporation Limited) has informed that the name of Smartchem Technologies Limited, a material subsidiary of the company, has been changed to Mahadhan AgriTech Limited with effect from 20th April, 2023.

Ganesh Benzoplast receives favorable order from NCLAT in dispute against STC

Ganesh Benzoplast Ltd has received an order from NCLAT in favor of the Company, in the matter of The State Trading Corporation of India (STC), as disclosed under the Contingent Liabilities of the company.

The order was passed by National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi on dated April 20, 2023 in favor of the Company by dismissing the appeal filed by STC against the Order of NCLT, Mumbai Bench of dated January 13, 2020, for claiming Rs. 24 Crore in relation to certain disputed transactions pertaining to period 2004-2008.

Gujarat Pipavav Port approves Capex of US $90 mn

The Board of Directors of Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited has approved the capital expenditure for setting up a New Liquid Berth at Pipavav Port at an estimated cost of about US $90 million.

Finolex Cables to set up a Preform Plant at Urse, Pune

Finolex Cables Ltd will set up a plant at Urse facility, Pune to produce Optical Fibre Preforms as well as expand on its Fibre draw capacity.

The plant with an initial capacity of 100 Tons of Preforms, is being set up at a cost of Rs. 290 Cr approx., and would be funded entirely out of internal accruals. The construction will commence upon receipt of necessary regulatory approvals. The production from this new plant is expected to commence in 15 months approximately from the date of commencement of construction of plant.

The plant's capacity would be scalable and would be expanded at a later date subject to market requirements.
