Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Q2 FY24 PAT declines 81% to Rs. 51 Cr

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) reported a  80.5% decline in net profit at Rs. 51 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared to Rs. 261.9 crore during Q2 FY23.

The company's revenue from operations declined 25.5% to Rs. 4,155.2 crore as against Rs.5,576 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA tanked 73.9% to Rs. 105.9 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal over Rs. 405 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

EBITDA margin stood at 2.6% in the reporting quarter as compared to 7.3% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization.
