Saint-Gobain has completed the sale of “Freeglass GmbH & Co. KG”, its business manufacturing exterior plastic components for the automotive industry, to HF Opportunities GmbH, a division of Hannover Finanz.
The business, with its industrial plant located in Schwaikheim in Germany, has been developing and producing plastic polymer components since 1998. It generated sales of close to €20 million in 2023 and employs around 120 people.
This transaction is part of Saint-Gobain's continued business profile optimization strategy, in line with the "Grow & Impact" strategic plan.
