Sharda Cropchem Limited has received an order from District court in USA, temporarily prohibiting import and sale of an Insecticide product containing combination of Bifenthrin and Zeta Cypermethrin in USA. It is a very small and insignificant product for company’s business in USA. This product has contributed less than 0.2% of total sales in USA. This has no impact on Sharda’s business in USA.

The litigant company will be required to compensate Sharda for loss of business in the event of a verdict in Sharda’s favour. The court has asked the litigant company to submit a Bond for US $500,000 to the court towards the possible compensation to Sharda. There are very good chances of the court withdrawing this temporary restriction in the near future.
