R. Krishna appointed CFO of AkzoNobel India

R. Krishna has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Whole-time Director of Akzo Nobel India in place of Harshi Rastogi with effect from Ist December 2021.

Harshi Rastogi will be stepping down as Interim CFO and Whole-time Director with effect from 1st December 2021.

R. Krishna is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has over 22 years of experience and his current role is that of Regional Commercial Controller VR and Automotive for Asia with AkzoNobel Group.

His expertise lies in leading finance functions in paints & coatings, insurance and chemical industries. His achievements include building focused strategies for sustained business growth, reorganizing finance function and driving continuous improvement, bringing operational efficiencies by redesigning cost models whilst furthering business growth through strategic initiatives, setting up systems to handle multiple projects simultaneously and forge strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

He is also proficient in handling complex business projects in a cross functional and multicultural work situation.
