Asian Paints plans Rs. 960 Cr expansion at Ankleshwar plant

The expansion will incur a total investment of approximately Rs. 960 crore on plant and machinery at the current prevailing prices

Asian Paints has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to commence the proposed expansion of manufacturing capacity of Paints, Resins & Emulsions at its Ankleshwar plant in Gujarat. 

The paints capacity will be increased from 130,000 KL to 250,000 KL and Resins & Emulsions from 32,000 MT to 85,000 MT. The expansion of the Ankleshwar plant will be completed in the next 2 - 3 years. 

The expansion will incur a total investment of approximately Rs. 960 crore on plant and machinery at the current prevailing prices. 

Asian Paints manufactures a wide range of paints for decorative and industrial use and also offers wall coverings, adhesives and services under its portfolio.
