BASF raises prices for its additives for paint and coatings industry

Price increases of up to 35% are needed to compensate for surging raw material, transportation, and energy costs.

Effective December 1, as existing contracts allow, BASF is increasing prices for its additives for the paint and coatings industry globally, such as Attagel, Dispex, Efka, Foamaster, FoamStar, Hydropalat, Irgafos, Irganox, Loxanol, Rheovis, Sterocoll, Tinuvin and Uvinul grades.

Price increases of up to 35% are needed to compensate for surging raw material, transportation, and energy costs, as well as other rising costs, including labor, packaging and maintenance. The increases are necessary to continue to support our customers with high-level products and services.
