Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL) has selected Honeywell Automation India Limited to convert their Taloja factory into a smart factory.

DFPCL is among India’s leading producers of industrial chemicals and fertilizers and has manufacturing facilities in Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh), Panipat (Haryana), and Dahej (Gujarat) besides Taloja.

Honeywell technologies support remote operations for Honeywell and third-party operational technology (OT) systems at the facility, deliver industrial cybersecurity solutions, and offer a multi-year enabled service maintenance program with the Honeywell Forge health dashboard. These solutions help DFPCL improve efficiency and productivity of their operations and maintenance, while being protected by the highest level of cybersecurity.

Honeywell also provided DFPCL with Managed Security Services, which will reduce the risk and impact of cyber-related disruptions and enable safer management of key elements of their ICS and OT.

Honeywell worked closely with DFPCL to develop a comprehensive maintenance program. Honeywell Enabled Services, powered by Honeywell Forge, will allow DFPCL to drive maintenance with a connected, predictive solution that combines advanced software and Honeywell’s domain knowledge on ICS. The program will deliver actionable insights on how to maintain system health, prioritize resources and amplify performance.
