Goa Carbon announces resumption of operations at Paradeep Unit
The company had earlier announced about the temporary shut-down of operations at the company's Paradeep unit with effect from 24th March 2020 as a proactive measure towards the containment of the spread of COVID-19.

Goa Carbon Ltd had earlier announced about the temporary shut-down of operations at the company's Paradeep unit with effect from 24th March 2020 as a proactive measure towards the containment of the spread of COVID-19.
Pursuant to the permission received from the local authorities, we have resumed operations at the company's Paradeep unit located in Odisha, after taking necessary health and safety measures given the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The kiln has been lit up from yesterday. After preliminary heat up and commencement of feeding of raw material, normal production is likely to resume from 24th April 2020, the company said in a statement.
The company is a regular supplier to aluminium smelters, graphite electrode and Titanium Dioxide manufacturers, as well as other users in the matallurgical and chemical industries.
