INEOS Styrolution India Limited's manufacturing plant located at Nandesari, Gujarat, which was shut down due to a fire in a section of the plant, is expected to restart operations from May 12, 2022, after completion of repairs and receipt of all statutory and regulatory clearances.

 

The company had to shut the plant in late March this year due to a fire incident in one of its sections.

 

As per the company, the fire was extinguished internally and the plant was brought to safe mode. One worker was injured during the accident.

 

Further, the company had discontinued operations at the Nandesari plant, till further assessment of the cause and implementation of corrective plans. The company's other manufacturing facilities are located at Moxi, Katol and Dahej in Gujarat.
