Kansai Nerolac Paints has reported total income of Rs.1606.86 crores during the period ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs.1388.02 crores during the period ended September 30, 2020 and to Rs.1342.53 crores during the period ended December 31, 2019.
The company has posted net profit of Rs.203.79 crores for the period ended December 31, 2020 as against net profit of Rs.168.72 crores for the period ended September 30, 2020 and Rs.115.71 crores for the period ended December 31, 2019.
The company has reported EPS of Rs.3.78 for the period ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs.3.12 for the period ended September 30, 2020.
Kansai Nerolac Paints has reported total income of Rs.3641.96 crores during the 9 months period ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs.4221.59 crores during the 9 months period ended December 31, 2019.
The company has posted net profit of Rs.401.11 crores for the 9 months period ended December 31, 2020 as against net profit of Rs.449.60 crores for the 9 months period ended December 31, 2019.
Commenting on the results, H. M. Bharuka, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd said, "The quarter saw a strong bounce back in demand on account of the festive season. Both Decorative and Industrial witnessed high double-digit volume growth in the quarter with demand recovery across all customer segments.
The continued aggressive cost control program along with judicious management of overheads helped the company report a strong growth in EBITDA. Basic raw material prices showed an inflationary trend. Inflation is likely to continue in the near future along with continued volatility in forex rates.
Looking forward, the company is optimistic that demand would continue to gain momentum."
